Ford City Hose Company #1 was established in 1900 to protect the residents and property of Ford City Borough and Cadogen Township from the ravages of fire. The orginal members were volunteers who wanted to help their neighbors during times of emergency. Today, we continue this service for the same reasons that led to our founding over a century ago.
